Our proprietary P3 assessment collects your preferences across 10 dimensions:

- Risk Profile (stability vs. growth)
- Work Schedule preferences
- Environment preferences (pace, structure)

2.1.3 Botler Baseline Sensitivity Profile® Data
Our proprietary sensitivity profile collects detailed lifestyle constraints across 12 dimensions including:
- Travel Sensitivity: Maximum commute distance/time, travel willingness, home location
- Compensation Data: Current salary, minimum acceptable salary, desired increase percentage
- Career Preferences: Seniority level, career trajectory, job classification preferences
- Work Environment Preferences: Management style, reporting structure, work hours, team size
2.1.4 Resume and Professional Documents
When you upload documents, we collect and process:
- Resume/CV files (PDF, DOCX, TXT formats)
- Work history (employers, job titles, dates, responsibilities)
- Education credentials (degrees, institutions, dates)
- Skills and certifications
- Professional achievements
2.1.5 Botler Chat Conversations
All conversations with our AI companion "Botler" are collected and stored:
- User messages (your questions and inputs)
- Assistant responses (AI-generated career guidance)
- Conversation context (references to SWOT analyses, recommendations)
- Timestamps and conversation threads
Retention: Chat history is retained for 90 days, then automatically purged.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
2.2.1 Usage Data
We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Platform:
- Pages and features accessed
- Time spent on different sections
- Click patterns and navigation paths
- Search queries within the Platform
- Feature usage frequency
- Error logs and crash reports

We do not access your Google Drive, Gmail, or other Google services without explicit permission.

- Analyze resumes using multi-agent AI systems
- Generate SWOT analyses (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats)
- Create career recommendations and personalized roadmaps
- Power Botler AI conversations with contextual understanding
- Match you with relevant opportunities based on your profile
- Track your progress toward career goals
3.1.2 Improve AI Models and Algorithms
We use aggregated and anonymized data to:
- Train and improve AI models (your individual data is anonymized before use in training)
- Enhance matching algorithms for job recommendations
- Refine SWOT analysis accuracy
- Optimize Botler personality archetypes
- Improve resume parsing accuracy
Important: We do not sell your raw personal data to train third-party AI models. Any data used for model improvement is first anonymized and aggregated.
3.1.3 Communications
We may use your email address to send:
- Transactional emails (account confirmations, password resets)
- Service updates (new features, platform changes)
- Billing notifications (payment confirmations, renewal reminders)
- Career insights (optional, can be disabled in settings)

- Sensitivity Profiles: Current version, indefinitely
- Resumes and documents: Until you delete them or close your account
- SWOT analyses: Until account deletion
- Career roadmaps: Until account deletion
- Botler chat history: 90 days from the date of each conversation
5.2 Deleted Account Data
When you delete your account:
- Immediate deletion (within 24 hours): Account credentials, Email address, P3 and Sensitivity Profile responses, Botler chat conversations
- 30-day deletion: Resumes and uploaded documents, SWOT analysis results, Career roadmaps, Usage logs containing personal identifiers
- 90-day backup retention: Some data may persist in encrypted backups for disaster recovery
6. Your Privacy Rights
6.1 Universal Rights (All Users)
Regardless of your location, you have the following rights:
Access Your Data
You can access most of your data through your account dashboard at any time. For a comprehensive data export, use the "Download My Data" feature in account settings.
Correct Your Data
You can update your account information, P3 assessments, and Sensitivity Profile through account settings.
Delete Your Data
You can delete individual documents at any time, chat conversations at any time, or your entire account through account settings.
Export Your Data
Download a copy of your data in machine-readable formats (JSON, PDF) using the data export feature.
Opt Out of Marketing Communications
Unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in each email or through email preferences in account settings.
6.2 How to Exercise Your Rights
To exercise any privacy rights:

7. Data Security
7.1 Security Measures
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

- In Transit: All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using TLS 1.3
- At Rest: All data stored in databases is encrypted using AES-256 encryption
- Passwords: Hashed using bcrypt (never stored in plaintext)

8. International Data Transfers

Career-Optimizer.ai is operated from the United States. Your information is stored on servers located in the United States (Vercel hosting, Supabase database, AWS S3 file storage).
8.2 Cross-Border Transfers
If you access the Platform from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.
European Users: Transfers from the European Economic Area (EEA) to the United States are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission.
9. Children's Privacy
Career-Optimizer.ai is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will delete the information from our systems and terminate the account.
